Lady Tonya Farrow

Elect Lady

Lady Tonya Farrow was baptized in Jesus Name under the leadership of District Elder Ronald Benson in December 1989, while she attended her senior year at Cornell University. She received the baptism of the Holy Ghost in March 1990 and began her new life in Christ. She remained in Ithaca, New York for approximately 10 years, working faithfully under the ministry of the Baptized Church of Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith. There she learned valuable lessons of doctrine, faith, and service under the leadership of Elder Ronald Benson and his ministerial team.

Lady Farrow has followed career choices of service and ministry. She began her professional career as a Probation Officer with the Tompkins County Probation Department. Here she sharpened her skills of investigative reporting and supervision. Upon relocating to New York City, she completed a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and embarked upon a career as an elementary school teacher for the New York City Department of Education, where 25 years later, she has shaped many young hearts and minds. Shortly after relocating to the city, she met and married then Minister Daniel Farrow. Together, they have created a loving home for three children, Daniel Jr., Joshua and Samantha Farrow.

Lady Farrow has served alongside Suffragan Bishop Farrow for the past 11 years at The Dwelling Place. She services in various capacities, as the need arises. Luke 12:48 states, But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more. This scripture has and continues to inspire her to do her best to support the work of the church and to serve her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.
